Rebecca Perl is a journalist and consultant specializing in health and science issues. Most notably, she spent years covering cancer, tobacco, and other health issues as a correspondent for National Public Radio, winning the coveted Peabody Award for her investigative reporting there. Ms. Perl’s specialized knowledge developed through her work as a health and science reporter covering a wide range of topics (including women’s, consumer, and public health issues) for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Washington Post and other papers. She has written and consulted for HBO’s documentary division. In addition, Ms. Perl currently produces two radio shows for doctors on Satellite Radio XM. She lives in New York City.
Perl holds an MS in Journalism from Columbia University, and a BA in English from Wesleyan University.
