Orlando Montoya is the coastal-area news producer for Georgia Public Broadcasting, a 16-station statewide radio network. A general assignment reporter based in historic Savannah, he covers everything from politics to arts, but is frequently drawn to coastal environmental and health issues that involve science.
He has been at Georgia Public Broadcasting in Savannah for 11 years. Before GPB, Montoya worked at WUCF at the University of Central Florida in Orlando, where he graduated with a degree in radio-television in 1997.
