Lindsay Patterson is an assistant audio producer at EarthSky Communications, Inc., a science media company based in Austin, Texas. She interviews scientists, writes a science blog, produces podcasts and is one of a team of hosts for the internationally syndicated Earth & Sky science radio series. She joined EarthSky’s staff in April 2007.

Originally from upstate New York, Patterson graduated from Colorado College with a degree in creative writing in 2006. Her first experience with radio was a news internship with KRCC in Colorado Springs. Freelancing for EarthSky introduced her to the world of science reporting and broadcasting.

When she is not reciting the results of scientific studies, Patterson enjoys baking, rowing, gardening, and her adopted home of Austin.
